Why people come here
A doctor, a dietitian, and a trainer who share one set of your numbers
Most people are running two appointments and a gym membership that never talk to each other. Here is what sits under one roof at neXendo instead.
Ten rows. Scroll inside the table to read them all.

Common questions
Nutrition
Why is nutrition important?
Nutrition directly impacts blood sugar, inflammation, hormones, energy levels, genes, and so much more. It is a key factor in managing chronic diseases, supporting weight loss, and improving long-term health outcomes. Consistent, individualized nutrition can help prevent or reduce progression of many conditions.
What happens during a nutrition visit?
A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) will review your health history, goals, and current lifestyle habits with you. Together, you will create a plan tailored to your needs and lifestyle. Follow-ups focus on progress, adjustments, and ongoing support.
What is a dietitian (RDN)? What is the difference between a dietitian and a nutritionist?
An RDN is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who has completed accredited education, supervised training, and passed a national exam. The term “nutritionist” is not regulated and can vary widely in qualifications. RDNs are licensed to provide medical nutrition therapy for health conditions.

Exercise
Why is exercise important?
Exercise improves cardiovascular health, strength, independence, mood, bone health, and more. It also supports weight management and helps reduce risk of chronic disease. Regular movement is one of the most effective tools for long-term health.
Why is a medical fitness trainer important, and how is it different from a standard gym trainer?
A medical fitness trainer has advanced training in kinesiology and works with clients who may have medical conditions or physical limitations. They focus on safe, evidence-based exercise tailored to health needs rather than general fitness goals. This approach is more clinical and individualized than a standard gym environment.
What happens during a session with a medical fitness trainer?
Sessions involve 1:1 guided exercise in a controlled, supportive gym setting. Movements are selected based on your health status, goals, and safety needs. The focus is on proper form, confidence, and sustainable progress.
Endocrinology
What is endocrinology?
Endocrinology is the study of hormones and how they regulate body functions like metabolism, growth, and mood. Endocrinologists diagnose and treat hormone-related conditions such as thyroid disorders and diabetes. Hormonal balance is essential for overall health.
Why is seeing a doctor for hormones important?
Hormones affect nearly every system in the body, and imbalances can cause subtle but significant symptoms. Early evaluation can help identify issues before they worsen. Proper diagnosis ensures targeted and effective treatment.
If I don't think anything is wrong, why should I still get checked out?
Many hormonal or metabolic issues develop gradually and may not cause obvious symptoms at first. Routine screening can detect imbalances early, improving prevention and outcomes. Preventive care is often more effective than waiting for symptoms.
My PCP said I was fine, but I still suspect a hormone issue. Should I get checked again?
If symptoms persist or feel unresolved, seeking a second evaluation can be helpful. Standard labs may not always capture nuanced hormonal imbalances. A more specialized assessment can provide additional clarity and reassurance.
