Two of our ONERO® certified instructors on what nutrition and supervised strength work can do for low bone density.
ONERO® · Step one
The first visit for anyone joining ONERO® at neXendo. One visit of about 90 minutes in Long Island City, where we read your scan, screen how you move, and set the starting loads for the program. Book it below or call 718-704-5376 and the front desk will book it by phone.
Already had the assessment? Enroll in the monthly program.
Everyone does this visit before enrolling. It is required, and it is where your starting loads get set.
We go through your most recent bone density scan if you have one, screen how you move and balance, and check for anything that would change how the program should be loaded for you. If ONERO® is a fit, your practitioner sets your starting loads and you enroll in the monthly program from there. If it is not the right program for you, we say so and point you to what is.
Bring any bone density results you already have and a list of what you take. Wear clothes you can move in.
Next
If ONERO® is a fit, you enroll in the monthly program: twelve months of supervised bone-loading exercise, two 50-minute sessions a week in Long Island City, one-on-one or in a small group. The assessment fee is on the booking form below.
Before you come, watch Irene Xu and Joseph Liao on nutrition and fitness for osteoporosis (webinar, about 31 minutes).
